‘Sugar and spice and everything nice’ is what describes Uthishta Kumar and her decadent cakes. From being a full-time architect, she switched to being a professional pâtissière. Craving an outlet for her creativity, she turned to baking and did her diploma from the Lavonne Academy of Baking Science and Pastry Arts. She went on to work at the Oberoi, Bangalore for a few months where she came into her own as a baker.

Creating magic from her own home, Uthishta makes the most indulgent, delicately designed, and delectable desserts. Customized cakes are her forte and she infuses a little bit of her delightful personality in every cake she bakes. She has a soft spot for pastels and creates over-the-top sugar flowers, quirky fondant figurines, and hand-painted accent pieces that take her heavenly delights to a whole new level.
